The shirt is extremely rare as Maccabi wore commemorative shirts with a memorial strip in honor of the late Johan Cruyff, who had passed away a week prior. The shirt was only worn in this one match as Maccabi cruised to an easy 3-0 victory with an Eran Zahavi penalty in the 8th minute, a Tal Ben Chaim goal in the 68th minute, and a Haris Medunjanin goal in the 74th minute.
